Why it is called Swine Flu ?

Laboratory testing showed that many of the genes in this new H1N1 Virus were very similar to influenza viruses that normally occur in pigs in North America and It can spread from one people to another people and causing illness in people.

How it is Spread ?

Influenza is mainly passed from person to person through droplet transmission. This occurs when a sick person coughs or sneezes contaminated droplets into the air, and a healthy person either inhales them or gets them on their hands and then later transfers them to their mouth, nose or eyes.

What are the Symptoms ?

1) Fever, cough, sore throat, muscle and joint pain, headache, runny nose, chills and fatigue.
2) Has difficulty breathing or chest pain.
3) Has purple or blue discoloration of the lips.
4) Is vomiting and unable to keep liquids down.
5) Has signs of dehydration such as dizziness when standing, absence of urination, or
6) In infants, a lack of tears when they cry.

9) If you become ill and experience any of the following symptoms, consult your Physician immediately

How to Prevent Getting it ?

1) Stay at home, Drink a lot of liquids and Get plenty of rest.
2) Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.

3) Do not smoke or drink alcohol.
4) Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
5) Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
6) Avoid close contact with people who are sick/
7) Try not to touch surfaces that may be contaminated.

Can it be Treated ?
The US authorities say that 2 drugs commonly used to treat flu, Tamiflu and Relenza, seem to be effective at treating cases that have occurred there so far. However, the drug must be administered at an early stage to be effective. Use of these drugs may also make it less likely that effected people will pass the virus onto others. The US scientists are already developing a bespoke new vaccine, but it may take some time to perfect it, and manufacture enough supplies to meet what could be huge demand. Furthermore, these vaccines might have hazardous side effects.

Can I still eat and prepare pork?

Create your own Patterns and Background Images within 40 seconds

Everyone loves to design their own background images or atleast a background design pattern. Whether its a blog or website or any social profile page then background image is must, but choosing the appropriate background image is slightly a tougher work and our taste is like a mad monkey, it keeps on changing our minds.

You can even ask me "there are millions of background images and stuffs available on the web and whats so special in this post ?" but really finding images matching the foreground colors and copyrights are definitely boring and takes a lot of time. If you are a master in Adobe Photoshop or any other tool its good, but it takes lot of time. then what is the solution ?? continue reading below ..

So here's a great tool called Repper where you can simple upload any image and drag a small window over the image and whooaaa ! Your pattern is ready - like shown below. The uploaded image can be anything which is captured on your camera or some wallpapers which you like , etc..

You can use Repper to create unique background patterns for your social profiles or your personal webpage or use it for posters or business cards, to design textile patterns or whatever you can think of; your imagination is your only limit!

How to use it ?

1. First go here and by default there are some images from which you can create your pattern designs.

2. You have a drag feature (white color box) you can drag and design your pictures from the right bottom image.

3. On the top bar you have 2 types of patters , you can click and change according to your taste.

4. You can also click the random image button and change the images.

5. Then you have an option of uploading your own image and creating a pattern from them and

The small picture shown with a green border at the right bottom is what I uploaded, and further the green square inside the image is the area selected and finally the red arrows show the pattern that is formed by that small selected area.

Normally we tend to search images and the result is the search engine searches in the database and displays the images that are related to that search term entered by the user. but this TinEye (reverse image search engine) on the otherhand starts with a image and can find out where an image came from. It allows you to search for images that are visually similar to an image you submit to TinEye.

TinEye is a reverse image search engine. You can submit an image to TinEye to find out where it came from, how it is being used, if modified versions of the image exist, or to find higher resolution versions. TinEye is the first image search engine on the web to use image identification technology rather than keywords, metadata or watermarks. This is useful if you have an image, but you don't remember what it depicts or if you want to find a higher-quality version of an image.

You can upload images to TinEye in two ways. 1) From your local computer 2) You can give url of an image or to point it to a website. Pointing it to a website will retrieve all images located on that website giving the user the choice to select any of them. After uploading the images the TinEye will display the number of related images that it found in its database which is currently containing 1.04 billion entries.

All you need to do is upload an image and it craws it's index seeking a near match and presents it. It's in beta and has about a billion images. It even detects images that are slightly modified.

This file will be written in the first 10Mb of space and the remaining 5Mb added to the backend of the free space.As you can imagine with the millions of files being written to and deleted from the disk each day so defragging the disk helps to keep all the data in easy readable format.

First of all I would say im not an expert, I just share my idea and this would work 100% sure. Many of us who wants to learn and share knowledge and who have just started blogging seriously can't grow their blog initially more than 100 page views. I was one among them last month. but sudden changes happens in life often. Only you need to put hardwork and patience. You're on your way to Success! :-)

Till last month my blog was getting less than 100 page views, but now it has grown up little to 500 views. So thought of sharing the process of 150 minutes which i spend daily. There is a saying " Rome wasn't built in a day " so you can't achieve 1000 views in a day. Spend 150 mins daily for atleast one month, you can gradually see the difference in your blog. Here is a simple strategy that will certainly increase your blog traffic and make you break the 1,000 daily page views. You need to follow just Four steps which is said below :

* First Step : (One hour)

Spend One hour on researching and writing killer articles. Be sure that you post one killer article every week or once every 15 days. If your not familiar with the term killer article " its nothing but a huge long article which does research on something like this - example : Top List of PDF Readers and Tools, Top 15 Tools for Twitter, 10 Top Right Click Tools For Windows, and You can see more killer articles on web designers blog like 100 free resources. " these are called killer articles. It gives a giant list of resources , detailed tutorial on how to do things. Mainly it should make visitors to bookmark and comment on it !. Killer articles take minimum of 5 to 10 hours of work, so spend one hour daily on the same piece of work. Result of these killer articles helps you to promote your blog and bring new readers aboard.

* Second Step : (30 minutes)

First of all im very much worried because I made only two posts this week. I hate my Internet service provider. Its sucks because most often the cables being cut by digging and other construction or some server repairs :( Coming back to the title, Access all your Google services at one click using GButts.

GButts is a Firefox Addon which helps you to display all of your Google Services as buttons just next to your address bar or anywhere you like it. You may even ask me " I have a Google Toolbar, Why should i go for this? ", but I prefer its more comfortable than Google toolbar. lets see how ?

How to Setup GButts ?

First Install the GButts Extension (Mozilla Add-ons) and Go to View > Toolbar > Customize.

Now Drag n Drop the GButts Toolbar in your Firefox window near addressbar or anywhere you like it.

Some Features of GButts Extension are :

# It has all the Google Services, You have to check or uncheck the boxes according to your needs.

# It has two ways for displaying the icons. (i) Toolbar view (ii) Dropdown view
(i) In Toolbar view you can set as Horizontal and Vertical type of view .
(ii) Dropdown menu with a Vertical Orientation on the toolbar is a good feature to conserve space.

# You can also change the Tab Behaviour by Opening every service in a New Tab.

# You can do all this customization by clicking on the Settings button in the toolbar.

# If you use different Google services often every day, GButts can provide a very efficient way to access those services without affecting your browser’s performance or cluttering up your toolbar interface.

Salaam Alekum! pronounced as (sulam ulakume) don't be wondering what is that, I greeted all my readers in Arabic language. so today when i was talking to my friend through Gtalk he asked me to suggest some image editing tools for his blogging use, decided why shouldn't I write something on that ?

Now I have some two divisions: Online and Desktop Image Editing tools, First ill share Desktop Image Editing tools which i use it and recommend personally.

Photoscape is a cute photo viewing and editing software with different features. It has viewer, built-in Flickr option so that you can view the random Flickr images, batch editor , Merge images, Animated gif maker, Print, Splitter, Screen Capture, color picker, Renamer , Raw converter. I use only Photoscape for cropping and Merging images. The above picture(Obama and stuff's) is done using Photoscape and it only took 3 mins for me because it contains all ready made icons :)

Paint.NET is free image and photo editing software for computers that run Windows. Reduce the Page load time and Check the Speed of your Blog

In the last post, we have seen how to speed up the web using some google tools but certain basic things which should be known by every blogger before using those tools. If your website loads slow there is a very large chance that most visitors may not even see the whole first page. In the current business world, where we need to do more with less time and resources, people just don't have the luxury of waiting around and can be sometimes annoying to the people using low bandwidth Internet connection like Dial Up users resulting in reduction in visitors So here I am going to tell you that how you can make your page load fast.

So here are few tips to reduce your website or blog page load time :

1. Reduce the number of graphics on your Blogs/Website. Generally the purpose of a webpage is to provide information. If an image doesn't improve the information or message then avoid using it. Studies have shown that one third of users will leave a website that doesn't load in 10 seconds or less. Donot use BMP images, because they are 10 times bigger than JPG images.

2. If your website doesn't need Flash and Multimedia then don't use it. If the use of flash or multimedia doesn't greatly enhance the purpose of your website then don't use it.

3. Remove Unwanted Sounds and Videos : I have seen many blogs putting their favourite songs that play in background.I do not understand what is the use of it ? It only creates a negative impact on the user ,nothing else.How ?? Your web page will take double time to load. So if you have any background songs in your blog,just remove it and then see the difference in the load time.Same is the case with the videos also.Instead of putting up the whole video just give the link.

4. Design using multiple tables rather than one. When you design a page based on one table then the whole page can't load until the table loads. If you design the page with a header table, body table and footer table then each table will display in the browser as it loads.

5. Always use a simple and neat looking template. When you have a simple clean design the WebPage will load much faster. Nice simple html navigation will load faster than javascript or flash. Use text instead of graphics when possible, text loads fast.

6. Try to keep the amount of information on each page under 2 or 3 screens of information. If your WebPage is getting longer than 2 pages of scrolling you may want to consider breaking the page up into multiple pages. Then rather than one slower loading pages you have 2 quick loading pages.

7. Less Use Of Javascripts And External Scripts: Minimize the use of javascripts and external scripts.When you open any web page it first reads the source code ,complex javascripts take much time to load.So always avoid it.

8. Move all HTML code present inside < style > tags to an external CSS file. Styles embedded in webpages make them bulky while the CSS file is downloaded just once on the client computer.

9. Just say no to Blog Chats, Google Gadgets, Weather forecast widgets, etc. They don't add value to your site and increase the page loading time.

10. As you start to use Twitter more and more, you may well notice the use of the #hashtag symbol appearing. A post on Twitter that includes a # before a group of letters or a word. A perfect example for #hashtag being used is #followfriday. Before getting into what is #followfriday, lets see what is the #hashtag used for ?

So What is the #hashtag used for ?
By placing the # symbol before a word, phrase, or abbreviation, it creates a mini-search engine phrase that can be looked up and followed on Twitter.

Now What is #followfriday ?
Every Friday on Twitter, you will see thousands of people sending out tweets that have the term #followfriday in the tweet. So what exactly is followfriday ? why should you join in ?

Followfriday was started by Micah Baldwin and It works on the idea that people on Twitter may not be sure who to follow. So what better way to find excellent people to follow on Twitter.

So every friday, the idea is that you think about who you are following on Twitter, that you would like to introduce to others. These may because they are providing excellent information, they are funny, interesting, amusing, or whatever you want..

So How Do I Join In?

It is very simple to join in.. All you need to do is to make sure that somewhere within the tweet that you send out, you add the term - #followfriday, and the name of the person that you are recommending.

So for example….. #followfriday: @dangerdiabolick because he provides good tech tips.

Now like #followfriday you can also create your unique #hashtag. There are no rules regarding #hashtags, but there is a common sense approach to take. Don’t tweet every message including a #hashtag symbol. Keep them for specific events, meetings, etc.. for eg: #F1,#facebook,#Iran Election etc. You then simply add that into your tweet.

Publicise everywhere you can, that you are using a certain #hashtag, and remind people to use it whenever appropriate when tweeting about the event, conference, meeting, topic etc…

If you’re new the best way to learn is to take action, so my suggestion is to jump right in. For eg, every Friday you’ll see people using the hashtag #followfriday. Observe them and start clicking the #hashtags you ll be redirected to Twitter search page where you’ll see every Tweet that also uses this hash tag. From there you can find out what the hashtag is being used for, who is using it, and in most cases links to where you can get more information.

This is for people who are using twitter as a main stream tool to be active on social media, they need to keep track of things in real-time.

Recently I got approval from Google Adsense. You can see the ads displaying in this blog sidebar and above this post. Before getting into the topic I have some personal tips for you , how to get approved by Google Adsense Program. These are 3 simple factors which you need to do
- Get A Privacy Policy Page On Your Website Or Blog!
– Wait A Few Weeks Before Apply!
– Have Quality Content! and please read Adsense TOS once before applying.

Now after getting approved and displaying the ads in your website/blog , main thing is clicking your own ads is prohibited and asking someone for click exchange. they are considered as invalid clicks. so Here are some detection methods they might use for calculating invalid clicks.

* IP Address:If the AdSense click is originated from the same IP Address as the one used for accessing your AdSense account, your account is flagged.

* Cookies from your Computer:More advanced users use dynamic IP! Yes, disconnect from the Internet, and join again, you change your IP, but Google for each click computer places on your computer Cookies.

* Other Google Services:Thinking that you are safe just because you do not access your AdSense account? Think again. This time, consider these: GMail, Google Earth, Google Calendar, Google Search, Google Toolbar, Google Talk, Google Sitemap, Google Desktop, Blogger, and so on. With the wide range of services they provide, Google can trace the originator of most (or probably almost all) clicks.

* Hardware/Mac Address:MAC address of the LAN card, modem, and router works almost like a fingerprint. I’m not sure if Google can track this, but probably they do.

* General Concept:# Google has some basic why this computer / IP address / person is so trigger-click-happy on this particular website but never click on the ads on other sites?
# Why is it that people accessing these sites direct (type-in URL or from bookmark) tend to be very active ad-clickers compared with those referred from search engine or other sites?
# why the ad-clickers like to hit and run, compared with non ad-clickers that surf a few pages before leaving?

* Click-Through-Rate (CTR):Your CTR may range from 0.5% to 10%, but if it exceeds a certain point (probably around 10%), you are flagged.

* Violation of Google AdSense:A clear violation of Google Ad Sense. “Make money by clicking on the ads” – even if you do not post this text directly sooner or later Google will find it. Again ban again no money.

* Search Engine Ranking:Your website is not indexed on any search engine, not linked by any prominent website, but get consistently high traffic? That sounds like something is in play. Regardless of whether it is an adware-embedded software, spam, trojan clickbot, or intentionally installed click-exchange network, it doesn’t sound right.

In short, it is almost impossible to cheat AdSense in the long term. Instead of spending time, money, and effort trying to outsmart Google, try these tips to improve your AdSense earning. Google might or might not use these methods to detect click-fraud. I’d believe that they have much better detection mechanism.

I've heard of sites where you give them a range of dates and a city, and they give you a full set of receipts for a trip to that city: airfare, hotel, meals, everything -- but I can't find a website.

FalseExpense will mail you an envelope full of fake receipts, suitable for submitting for reimbursement or deducting from your taxes, "FOR NOVELTY USE ONLY".

The process is simple:

* Email them the answers to a short questionnaire about the false receipt you want designed and printed.
* Within 24 hours, they will send you a draft scan by email of the fake store receipt.
* You give them feedback/changes you may require.
* They Print the fake register receipt with a real Point of Sale (POS) Thermal Printer and post 2 copies of the real receipt to your address.
* You can use them for whatever purpose you choose!!
* You need to pay a small fee- using your credit card.

Copy Text from Images in One Easy Step

Do you have any image scanned or photographed ? want to copy the text from there? So if you have any image scanned or photographed, you can still take out the text from the image easily. Then what can you do, Going to type the whole text part by referring to the image ?? Well, it's simple. There are many software available for that purpose that works on OCR (Optical Character Recognition) which you can copy the Text part from directly image by using this technology.

Here I'm going to give you Two simple ways by which you can copy the text from the images.

1. JOCR, Using this small but powerful utility JOCR you can copy text from any images.

JOCR is a freeware application that enables you to capture the image on the screen and convert the captured image to text. It is useful to revive the protected files whose text can not be copied. JOCR enables you to copy text from any files and images on the screen such as protected Web pages, PDF files, error messages. The program offers several capture modes.

JOCR requires Microsoft Office 2003 or higher version.

If JCOR does not work, please manually install "Micorosoft Office Document Imaging" (MODI) that is included in the setup file of Microsoft Office. You can find MODI under "Office Tools" of the setup file.

2. You can Copy Text from Images through Microsoft Office OneNote.

* Run the Microsoft Office OneNote.
* Just copy the image (any format whether jpg, bmp, png etc) and paste it in the OneNote. Don’t “open with” the image as it will give an error.

* Now select the entire image and right click on the page.

* Click the option “Copy Text From Picture”.
* Just paste the contents back on any Word Document.

The text has been extracted from Office OneNote and can be printed neatly. If you are worried about the formatting of the pasted content, you could select “Keep Source formatting” in the paste option.

Pop star Michael Jackson is Dead - RIP

King of Pop, 52, suffers cardiac arrest and dies at UCLA Medical Center. (25th June 2009)

MJ was pronounced dead after he was found in coma at his Bel-Air mansion and was rushed to hospital UCLA medical centre. Jackson's brother, Jermaine, said he was believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest.

Jackson's body was flown from hospital to the LA coroner's office :(

Jackson, who had a history of health problems, had been due to stage a series of comeback concerts in the UK on 13 July.
Speaking on behalf of the Jackson family, Jermaine (brother) said doctors had tried to resuscitate the star for more than an hour without success.

Advanced Google Search -Simple Guide

I'm happy that there has been a Google Page Rank update yesterday i.e. 24th June 2009. This blog of mine moves to PR 2 from PR 1. Now back to the topic, Google is an remarkably powerful tool that can ease and enhance your Internet exploration. Google's search options go beyond simple keywords, the Web, and even its own programmers. Let's look at some of Google's lesser-known options.

Here are some advanced operators that can help narrow down your search results.

* Intitle: At the beginning of a query word or phrase (intitle:"Bill gates") restricts your search results to just the titles of Web pages.

Type this - intitle:"Bill gates" - in Google search box and know the results.

Now you should be guessing why have i put those search keywords into double quotes ??

Using double quotes for exact phrase searches, limits Google to return only pages that has the exact string as your query. You can Search for exact phrase.

For example - Just type this - "steal-ideas"

* Intext: The query intext:abdul kalam restricts results to documents containing abdul kalam in the text. For instance, [ wings of fire intext:abdul kalam ] will return documents that mention the word “abdul kalam” in the text, and mention the names “wings of” and “fire” anywhere in the document (text or not).

* Site: Some websites does not have search in it and you want to easily find something on this site,well Google can really help you with that you can limit your search to a single web domain by appending “site:domain name” to the search phrase. For example, to limit a search to pages belonging only to wikipedia.org, I appended site:wikipedia.org to the search query. For example, get pages about Steve ballmer by searching for intitle:"steve ballmer"site:wikipedia.org. or intitle:"steve ballmer"site:org.

* Wildcards: Use Wildcards for unknown terms. This is good if you don’t know exactly what to put in the search query. For example, if you want to query pages containing bill * gates(the * is the wildcard), the popular page that has “bill ” + any word + “gates” on them will come up.

* OR Operators: To allow either one of several words. For example if you want to look for pages containing “bill gates” or “steve ballmer” just search for “bill gates OR steve ballmer”.

* Advanced Search Page: The advanced google search let you search for contents on the web with filters on language, date of creation, format, usage rights, geographical region and numeric range. Don’t forget to check out Google’s new Search Options feature.

* Un-protected Directories: Type this line in the Google search box:

When you search for this, you will find all the un-protected directories on the Internet that Goggle has found! Try to see what is helpful for you from these unprotected directories!

The line: intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified is made up of many small Google commands Like :

# intitle:"index of" : This tells Google to only search for web pages with the term index of in the Title of the web page.

# +"index of" : This tells Google that all the pages that come in the search results, must have index of on the page.

# The + basically tells Google that whatever is after the + must be there in all the pages that Google provides in the results.

With this you can find E-book, Games, Software, Videos, Songs and much more.

# To do this you can use this line: for Mp3 songs

intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified +mp3

# Similarly, if you wanted to find all the ebooks in all the up-protected directories, you could use this line:

intitle:"index of" +"index of" +size +name +description +modified +pdf harry potter

# To see images in private directories you can use this code -

SharpKeys is a very small application which does an excellent job in customizing all the keys in your keyboard according to your requirement. Like change "CapsLock" to "Shift" keys.

You can even disable them or you can also play Pranks with your friends things which i like to do most :))

How to use it ??

* It is very simple, install the application then click Add.

* You will see a window like this, Now can see the list of keys you can change, you can even type your own key which you feel is easy.

* Just click "Type Key" button in the "From Key" section and hit the keys which they want to convert.

* Then again click on "Type Key" button in the "To Key" section and press the key which they want to assign to the selected key.

* After you are satisfied click ok and write to registry.

* Restart your pc to take effect ! That's it.

File Sharing service is used to share files directly with friends. Double-click this service and select the folder whose content you want to share.

After you have selected the folder, all of its content will be listed on your page. You can modify the Access Control (Found on Rightside bar)and make these files either Public, give Limited Access, or make them Private. A URL link to share these files with your friends is also given.

Note: All hidden files in the shared folder will also be shared.

I couldn’t find an option to make some files private, while allowing other files to be made public. At the moment, you can only set your whole shared folder as either Public, Limited, or Private, not individual files.

Fridge :

Fridge is a service that allows people to leave you notes. You can also add notes yourself so that others are read it too.

Media Player :

Media Player allows you to access your complete music library on the go. You can stream the music directly from your home computer, sounds like pulpTunes which does the same for iTunes library. Double-click this service and select the folder that contains your music collection.

Now all music will be listed on the page along with various options, such as, Autoplay, Shuffle, Repeat, Sort, and Search. You can also modify the Access Control just like you can do it for File Sharing.

Photo Sharing :

Photo Sharing feature is another handy service that can be used to share quick family or personal photos. Select the folder where your photos are located and click OK.

All folders and photos will be displayed as a thumbnail, you can browse more photos by clicking the page number at the bottom.

The Lounge :

The Lounge is a service that allows your friends to connect to your computer and chat with you. The whole chat will be hosted on your computer. Just click Invite and send the lounge link to your friend.

Once they visit your link, all they have to do is to enter the nickname and hit Enter.

Since the chat room will be hosted on your computer, you can kick anyone from the lounge with a simple right-click. Below is the screenshot of the lounge. Enter the Nickname and Continue with chat.

Web Server :

Web Server allows you to host your own websites. If you have created a newly designed website and do not have some bucks to buy the server, then this is the best option. Just double-click this service and select the folder where your web files reside.

You can only display HTML files, create the default file as index.html or index.htm, and the first one will be presented. If you need to use it as Web server then Your computer must be On 24x7 ,high internet connection with some extra bandwidth.

If you want to change any of the files sharing, music, or photos just right click the particular tab like file sharing or photo sharing and Go to > Properties.

I am sorry that i couldnt update my blog all these days, My internet connection had really pissed me off. Coming back to the topic..
Often we feel the need of sharing music album in the form of auto playing video so that it’s easier for viewers to view & listen. Sharing music files or audio album on Youtube is best choice however Youtube only allows you to upload video files and you can’t upload audio/song files with extension mp3,wav etc.

This helps to create video of audio songs & pictures like windows movie maker tool and then upload on Youtube or other video sharing websites. If you are not comfortable with Windows Movie Maker then here is uMusic a freeware utility to help you in quickly creating video files from mp3 audio song and pictures.

uMusic also has option to upload newly created videos on Youtube right from your desktop. Here is quick guide on how to create and upload videos with uMusic.

1. Click browse to look for a .jpg file

2. Click browse to look for an .mp3 file

3. Click on Create Video

Choose a target folder and filename
Please be patient, the application will unfreeze once the encoding is completed

If there are problems uploading it is because there are too many characters in the fields or there are esoteric characters in the fields

A Guide on Google Chrome Extensions

Today, I'm going to suggest some good extensions for Google chrome lovers. I had been a Hard-core Firefox user and casual chrome surfer. but Now-a-days I'm moving to Google Chrome.I love its design and features. Simple and Faster loading time than Firefox, may be that's made me to switch from Firefox to Chrome. So coming to Topic, Google chrome has added support for extensions like Which Firefox has add-ons, but not like too many Firefox add-ons only few extensions have been released to Chrome. However there are a few extensions which are worth using. This tutorial or List of extensions will be little lengthy so don't Ignore to Read. It can turn you as Google Chrome Lover.

Here is a list of extensions that you can install and use in Google Chrome.

First point is Where does Google Chrome install itself ? Not in program files. In Windows XP Google Chrome will be installed in C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\directory.
In Windows Vista Google Chrome will be installed in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\ directory.

Replace C: with the drive windows is installed in and UserName with the windows users you installed chrome with. We are not sure why they install in the Local App Data folder, and they do not provide any way to change the settings, while you are installing the software. You can easily uninstall Google Chrome through the control panel.

Now coming to Google Chrome Extensions, How to Install it ?
To install Google chrome extensions Follow the steps below.

1: Edit the current shortcut you use to open Google chrome by right clicking it and selecting properties from the available options.
2: In the new window that opens up, navigate to the Shortcut tab and add –enable-extensions to the end of the line preceded by a space in the target box, as shown in the screenshot above.

3: Click Ok to close the properties window.
4: Close all open chrome windows and re-launch the application by double-clicking on the shortcut.

How To Uninstall Google Chrome Extensions?

To uninstall an extension, you need to delete its folder and restart Chrome. The extensions that you download from this page are stored under the profile folder.
Find your Google Chrome profile folder. It’s the directory named Default that’s in your user data directory.

1: Go to the Extensions folder under your profile folder. You’ll see a bunch of folders with names like 7868865ecc233b0400abe5d38d88355c03c4bb1a.

2: Figure out which folder corresponds to the extension you want to uninstall. You can usually tell by looking at the names of the files under the folder. For example, the BuildBot Monitor has the file 7868865ecc233b0400abe5d38d88355c03c4bb1a\0.1\buildbot.html.

3: Delete the folder.
4: Restart Chrome.

Hello,This blog is Now with Google Pagerank One. Thanks to Google and My Readers. I was wondering how Google assigns Pagerank to blogs and websites? then after a deep search i came out with some results and i thought of sharing it with you. Hereafter Pagerank will be denoted by PR in this post.

First of all Google decides PR of a blog/website through its Content,Backlink,Site Structure and Domain trust,etc etc ..

Some friends told me they got headache when they got stuck to these backlinks subject. What is backlinks? What is Pagerank? How to get backlinks for our site? How many backlinks do we really need to get certain PageRank?

What is Backlink ?
Back links are also known as Reciprocal Links. A reciprocal link is an agreement between two webmasters to provide a hyperlink within their own website to each other's web site. Generally this is done to provide readers with quick access to related sites, or to show a partnership between two sites. Eg : You can see my Sidebar with a heading Must Visit - This is called backlinking sites !

Backlinks can help to increase traffic to your web site in two ways.

1. You will probably have some viewers visit your site from clicking the reciprocal link directly.
2. Most Internet search engines also take into account the number of websites which contain links to your web site; the more hyperlinks to your site found, the higher up in the search engine rankings (depending on the search term) you'll find your site.

I thought of sharing something with the readers. Its obviously a old news for many! but It is useful for all those who feel that their torrents is slow. Recently I had upgraded my net to BSNL UL-750 unlimited data transfer and is also very slow in torrents. So I started searching for an alternative for it and finally found an interesting and good one.

Imageshack is website generally used to upload images, many might know about it. but it has launched a torrent drive too - Imageshack Torrent Drive

You just upload a .torrent file to its image drive and it will download the torrent for you in its server and saves in the image drive alloted to you,
after completion you can directly download the torrent using your regular download manager, like any other files from internet, from image drive.

Steps :

1. It requires you to register for an account at imageshack.us.
2. After Registering, LogIn and Go to Imageshack Torrents’ Home.
3. You can either upload a .torrent file from your computer or else provide the URL to the .torrent file. Click GO
4. That’s it. Now, Imageshack starts torrenting for you and you may shut the computer and have a good night’s sleep.
5. Nothing is downloaded to your computer, NOW.
6. When you check back, it might be finished or else you can see the status of the given torrent download.
7. In the torrents’ homepage, you get to control torrenting, like, Start, Stop, Download, Delete etc.
8. Clicking on “Download” will take you to a file listing page.
9. If you are downloading a torrent with many sub-files, you can download the individual files in the order of finishing. That means, if your torrent contains 50 files and only 25 of them are finished at the time you check, you can download those 25 files individually while the torrenting proceeds in the background.

The free users will be given a 5gb of disk space to store the downloaded torrents which is reusable upon deletion of data But the monthly download bandwidth is restricted to 10gb.

I had also found two small hacks in this free service.

1. You can increase your space and bandwidth by opening fakes.

2. There is a problem here which is the torrent download service is first offered to premium users and if there is any bandwidth left free users can use it But when any one of you get the message that there is no free user limit then you can start refreshing the page (use auto refresh addon in firefox) until it starts the torrent Download.
